I haven't been idle...

And I am keeping busy with daily workouts that are taking it back to the original idea of this blog, short intense cross training covering the big three of strength, endurance and flexibility. The diet has been okay, but a little shaky on occasion and I would like to get it a little more focused than it is now.

I feel that the format of the blog has become a little tired of late and so what I am planning to do less postings and include some video. The plan is:
  • Weekly workout plan with a short video - these will run a week behind as they have before
  • Fortnightly article - on any random thoughts in which I am interested, but which are likely to be health an fitness related.
  • Monthly links - unlike my friend Chris Beardsley over at the Garage Gym I don't have the enthusiasm to try to do this weekly and will restrict myself to once a month. 
  • Weekly recipe
  • Fortnightly motivational and / or organisational suggestions. This may be in the form of video or written article. They may be self produced - for I have a huge back catalogue of these from when I used to write a monthly business newsletter - or in the form of links. They may also simply be book suggestions. They will not be restricted to health and fitness.
My other blog has run its life and is going to be taken down.

Other plans:
  • I am excited to say that I have been approached to pull together a book for publishing, structuring the workouts I use and my advice to those seeking to get fit with minimal equipment, who work full time, have a family and commitments.
  • I am also excited to say that to compliment the fist book, I have also been approached to pull together a recipe boook.
